18th June 2010 - Second Workshop Announced...


The second workshop, presented by CitySprint, is entitled I WANT IT NOW! Why Retail SameDay delivery is a critical element for multi-channel success. This session features guests Hilton Eachus, Customer Delivery Manager from ASOS and Tony Carr, Head of Distribution from House of Fraser, who will be happy to answer any questions about their experiences. 15th June 2010 - Hash Ladha, Group Multi-Channel Director at Aurora Fashions announced as a speaker

11th June 2010 - Naomi Paget from T.M.Lewin announced as a speaker


We're delighted to welcome Naomi Paget, Head of Customer Relationship Marketing at T.M.Lewin as both a speaker and a guest on the end of morning panel discussion. Naomi has been responsible for the launch of T.M.Lewin's 'Off the Cuff' community - a social media based forum that enables real customer engagement and interaction. 23rd March 2010 - BRC Multi-Channel Retailing Event


The Retail Conference team had a great day out today at British Retail Consortiums Multi-channel retailing conference. As they ran their event at America Square conference centre it was an opportunity for us to find out what it's like to experience their service as a delegate. The good news is it was excellent - facilities, food, space - nothing was wanting. We look forward to holding The Retail Conference 2010 there!

22nd February 2010 - Sainsburys to speak at 2010 event


Today, we can announce that Sue Round, Head of Learning and Development at Sainsburys, will be speaking at The Retail Conference 2010. Sue will be talking about the benefits that Skillsmart Retail, the sector skills council for retail, has brought to the industry as a whole - and in her role she is well placed to comment!

28th October 2009 - Retail Trust & Skillsmart Retail


Today Retail Acumen confirmed that both Retail Trust and Skillsmart Retail would benefit from involvement at The Retail Conference 2010 for no charge. In the past years Retail Acumen has donated sponsorship to Retail Trust. For 2010, given the impact on retail employees in the previous year, it was decided that Skillsmart Retail (the sector skills council for retail) should also benefit from a donation of sponsorship.

Together Retail Trust and Skillsmart Retail not only provide all the assistance for those who find themselves out of work (through Retail Trust's rework outplacement programme) but with Skillsmart Retail there are now opportunities to develop the skills base, making staff more effective and more employable should the worst happen.

15th October 2009 - New Venue Announced for 2010 Event


We're pleased to announce that The Retail Conference 2010 will be taking place at America Square Conference centre in The City of London.

The winner of the Sustainable Tourism Award at the Visit London Awards, Cavendish Conference Venues will no doubt provide a top notch experience.

Still part of the group that operates Cavendish Conference Centre (which has been our home for the past 2 years) America Square will enable us to provide a greater choice of workshops / break-out groups with greater capacity - adding to delegate comfort and choice and ensuring we really can offer something for everyone.

We're delighted to be able to change to this great venue, with the extra space and facilities it affords without the need to move away from the fantastic service, quality and attention to detail we have come to expect from Cavendish Conference Venues group!
