The Retail Conference: Our Theme - Dynamic Retailing
The theme for The Retail Conference 2010 will be Dynamic Retailing
Each year we determine a theme to connect the event content - the aim being to keep it relevant for you, the audience.
In 2007 the theme was intelligent retailing, and in 2008 it was efficient retailing. We explored an efficient shopping experience - available product, on shelf and excellent customer service - to an efficient supply chain - from range and assortment planning to visual merchandising decisions. We then reflected on how that ultimately tied back to the efficient shopper experience...
In 2009 the theme was responsive retailing. Given the economic environment and the fact that the UK and much of the developed world was in recession this theme enabled us to explore how survival, and growth, in a recession was (and still is) all about the retailers ability to respond to the needs and wants of the consumer.
With 3 great years of history now at The Retail Conference, and with each year raising the bar on the last, we have decided on the theme of "Dynamic Retailing".
